Default How to read tire sizes

i have an 05 Enthusiast and im about to start shopping for wheels (and a bbk). But i really dont know how to size them correctly. I dont know what each number means...what offsets and spacers are..so could someone give me some insight on understanding the numbers and choosing the right sizes.

It helps to search. Via google: http://www.mistupid.com/automotive/tiresize.htm

Search this forum for offsets and spacers - may be in a FAQ. In general, you'll get better responses from people if you do some research up front.
