Hey Cat, where did you order the gt-c from and how much?

I want to get some rims...but i don't know which ones to get. i like the SF challenges, le37, and te37 but the Gt-c are growing on me! What do you guys think i should get for a PPW Z? What color? I personally think gold looks sweet with a white car but will it be a little dramatic on a stock car?

InjectedPerf. I think you should go gold, Diamond Black, or RBC. I like all those wheels.... there are some SF-challenge for sale in the for sale section. you should check it out, it has pics of them on a white Z.....

it's a hard decision, so good luck! the gt-series provide more BLING, and the le are more racing style, lighter and all.... you won't have as much lip with the le, te that you do with the GT series... '

NeedZ, thanks for that photoshop! i have been wondering what color caliper I should go with when I do a BBK. I was deciding between blue and red... red to make them stand out...hmmmm..... maybe I should start adding a HINT of red throughout my car and engine bay..... hmmmmm.......

well thats a pic of the 19x10.5 rim. the lip is prob like 3 - 3.5 inch in the rear....nothing too extreme. i went 19x9.5 +21 19x10.5 +24 and i think it looks amazing!!!! im not a fan of HUGE lips in the rear when the front has next to no lip at all in the front ya know...looks way unbalanced imo, thats why i went with the +21 offset in the front, it has a good size lip.

i have the wheels on the car and will do a separate thread sometime this week w/ pics, im at work now so i cant. ohhh and everytime i leave the car....i turn around and look at her over n over. i couldnt be any happier with my choice in wheels, the color is perfect for silverstone and my car was gettin jocked bigtime everywhere i went this weekend lol.

 

Mine are finally on their way. The tracking info gives an ETA of 27th.

Now, I'm just scared that the lip isn't going to be as big as i thought.... <sigh> will I ever be satisfied? I just hope they are atleast as big as the lip on my gt-7 right now...

not to be a jerk but the gt-7 is known for having a bigger lip than the gt-c thought u would've known.

 

I don't see how it could be that much different. I thought it depended on the offset. No?

 

you are correct sir. not a huge difference but gt7 lip > gtc lip. yes depends on the offset
