Default The factory warranty

Hey,

I was wondering would using aftermarket 19" wheels, Axis Hiro's with 245/35/19's and 275/35/35's and loweing it 9/16's front and 3/4' in the rear, void the Nissan warranty? I know Nissan sells some Nismo springs or kit but they only lower the car .6 front and rear I think.

I know it may seem like dumb questions for such mild mods/upgrades but the 19's and the Tein springs would make for a slightly rougher ride (I'm guessing) and I'm wondering if there were ever a warranty issue, if the dealer would say ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh this Z has been 'modified' we can't help you out here buddy.

Has anybody heard of getting hassled from such mild mods?

Roughly where abouts do they draw the line on mods and when your warranty becomes voided, due to the mods? Obvisouly FI and supercharging and maybe tranny driveline and clutch upgrades is a given but what else?

im guessing that if you buy the parts from your dealership and have them install them then the answer is no. If you buy the parts elsewhere and install them yourself...then the warranty will be void.

That's what I've heard as well... It's bogus if you ask me. Apparently, even if you get it done by a reputable shop, they can void your warranty...

The dealer has nothing to do with the factory warranty, when they refuse something [because experience has taught them what they can get Nissan to fix] ---up to you to deal with Nissan to get it [odd *****/specials] authorized.

The dealers [service department] largest customer is Nissan. They [Nissan] pays or you pay that simple.
