Michelin PS2
Thinking about ordering a set of PS2's for the front of a 350Z Touring 6 speed, Model with 18" wheels. Since stock tires are 225/45/18 and the PS2's are only offered in 225/40/18 - can they be used on the stock wheels? Also, will use of this size mess up my traction control?
Thanks
Thanks

That only matters on your drive wheels from what I believe.

What I'm saying is, the tire size may work OK initially but after some tire wear the situation may be different.

Don't assume that all tire brands/models in the same size designator [225/45] are exactly the same size when mounted on wheels................rolling radius depends on tire stiffness and inflation pressure and weight on the tire.
You should be fine.
Responsivness might suffer a bit, but overr all grip will be higher in the front.
What are you running rear ? You'll want to keep your car balanced, keep the wheels staggered with similar rubber compoud front and rear.
I run Falken Azenis RT-615 235/40R18 fronts and 255/40R18 rear. When I'm low on fuel, the car gets a bit loose ! Fun

I can tell you this ... I run 18" Nismo Wheels on my Z. I used to run Pilot Sports. I just bought a set of PS2's. SIGNIFICANT improvement. You are going to LOVE those tires. They are almost trackable but at a 220 treadwear they're not quite sticky enough. Also they a little slippery when they're cold so give them a few miles (5-10) to warm up. You'll figure that out real quick when you get on it in the first mile of driving! I run Front-275-35/18 & Rear 315-30/18. Best daily driver tires I've ever owned.
