Default Another Axis Hiro thread/question

Looking for Silver Axis Hiro's 8.5x19" and 9.5x19" with 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 Toyo tire package, with a 20 front and 25 rear offset on the rims.

Does anybody know off hand if one of the sponsers on this site sells these wheels in a tire/wheel package?

I got a quote from one of the advertisers here on a Volk GT-7 tire/wheel package, then asked for the same basic thing in an Axis Hiro and he said he didn't sell Axis wheels, which he doesn't but I could have sworn one of them in here sells Axis wheel packages? I haven't been able to find it again.

Yea I like Hiro's a lot. The money I save VS the Volk's would pay for the Nismo exhaust, plus I would be sick if I ever curbed a $600 Volk

Go with the 19s". Wheelstudio.com has packages and apparently are pretty good to do business with.

Default Holy CRAP!

I called Les Schwab to see how much they sell Hiro's for which they don't stock but can order and I was quoted $452 for the fronts and $509 for the rears.

That's for the rims ONLY!!

What a joke!!!

This is FREAKIN' BS. I've been searching in my free time for days now trying to find a place online that sells these damn Hiro's with 245/35/19" and 275/35/19" toyo tires. Or any tire package for that matter.

In at least 2 counts I went to websites where people said they bought them or can buy them and they don't even list Axis wheels on their site anywhere.

I have only found one place that even sells these as a package and they sell it with a 30 series on the rear. Plus I have heard bad things about them on top of that.

Would be easier and cheaper to just buy the wheels from the guy on E-bay at $1,200 shipped (wheels only) but that aheeem dooood won't allow anybody to purchase shipping insurance on their orders.

I would check eBay. They have 19in Hiros all day long for like $1200 bucks free shipping, then goto your local tire shop and get some rubber and mount those...prolly like $200-2200 out the door.

Is this guy ok?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-Ax...spagenameZWDVW

I'm going to be buying rims in a month or two, and I don't want to get ripped off.

These Hiros on ebay are the cheapest I've seen them.
I plan on getting these for 1250 then spending around 600-800 on tires.

Go for it Chad.

Where the hell did you find that auction? That is a different guy than I was talking about.

There are 2 things that jump out at me about that auction.

1. I was told that the Hiro's don't come on a 15 and 20 offset.

2. Hiro's DO NOT come in chrome at any price.

Chad68, I think I'm going with the Hiros as well. Gonna go for the gunmetal for a Redline. Gonna look great!!! With the money you save going with the Hiros vs. Volks, you could set her down on those new rims nicely.

http://www.wheelsnext.com/view.phtml...Submit2=Search

Check out the link. The wheel and tire size is almost EXACTLY what you are looking for. When I decide I've had enough torture, that's what I'm gonna go for.

Hope that helped!

Hmm ya I dunno. As much as it bothers me that the Ebay dude doesn't have any shipping insurance available, he does have the cheapest price for the wheels I have ever seen anywhere, with the exact offsets I want and he even raised the price from $1,100 to a little over $1,200 with shipping and they are still the cheapest.

He does have 100% good feedback, so he must be doing something right.

If he is still selling them for $1,200 in 4 months, Might be the way to go. Even if they are $1,300 with free shipping, they are still the cheapest I've found. Damn should just buy them now and put them away with all the other goodies. Yea right, spend all my down payment money:-P

Plus this way by buying just the wheels, when the tire guy scratches the wheels I will be there to shot him

If you look at my link Chad, he does have insurance included in the shipping and handling costs.
