Why would you want to lose 1" in OD? Your recommendation would look funny and throw of the electronics and the speedo. IMO, not the right thing to do.

well i could go down to even what jason has i guess and use a 35 profile but i was thinking that might be too thin. it wont throw the speedo off that much i read bout that itll throw it off at most .5mph from what i remember. i have no vdc bc i have an auto touring all i have is tcs and i dont believe itd throw that or the slip light. just my conjecture but jason does work for nissan at one of the larger customizing dealers so im willing to bet hes right. just a guess tho.

you are basicly changing your final drive gear...
speedo will be a little off... 3.6% too fast it will read... no huge deal...
As long as you run tire sizes that keep the same overall size difference between front and rear you dont throw off your VDC...
I run 265/35/18 295/35/18 which is just about an inch shorter then stock as well... no issues at all...

Your sizes are smaller than stock, but not 1". Both your fronts and rears are about 1/2" smaller than stock, not as big a deal as 1".
