I think the smaller sidewall in the back 19" will look pretty retarded... will look odd to say the least.

265-35-19 rear
245-40-18 front

car needs 285-35-19 in the rear.. but then it will be totally unballanced, with large understeer biasdue to the insane stagger.

265-35-18 front and 285-35-19 rear would be decent.

the side wall looks the same as the front...

265/35/18 front actually has a smaller sidewall then the 245/40/18 front and smaller tire diameter...
285/35/19 has a much taller sidewall then 265/35/18 and the tire diameter is 1.6" Taller in the rear... the car will look really funny like this...

265/35-18 is 2.5% smaller than the old stock 225-45-18
285/35-19 is 0.6% bigger than the old stock 245-45-18

perfectly within spec and much more appropriate to the wheel sizes given, where not only is the rear 265 sidewall smaller, but it's also has a good amount of stretch on a 10" wheel. Beside, 265/35/18 has same sidewall as 265/35/19... why would it look odd in the front and look fine in the rear? LoL
I don't think the 1.6" difference would look funny. I mean, the point of having staggered wheels is to have a smaller front wheel in the first place. For what reason otherwise?

I think that would look MUCH better. Anyway this is the best compromise, a staggered setup on the Z doesn't make much sense... only sane solution would be to upgrade the front to 19" as well.

If there is more then about .8" - 1" difference between front and rear you get VDC Issues...

The side wall size between the sizes that are on the 06 track w/ 18 / 19 set up is the same front and rear... The difference between the two is the rear is an inch taller...

Have you seen it in person yet?

it's hard to judge from the angle of the pictures and the shiny stuff on the tires. But the rear does appear to have a good amount of stretch, and the front sidewall does appear to be significantly larger.

again I'm stumped on the reasons why someone would want a staggered setup on a car like the Z.

the tires on the 06 do seem too narrow and streached they dont even protect the rim at all!! I ALREADY scrapped the rim with very light curb contact!!! i NEED wider tires that can protect these expensive *** wheels!!

Those would look fabulous on my G35! Bout time Nissan had Rays make a wide performance wheel instead of these skinny 8.5 wide wheels. Now if we could get some good tires like some SO-3's or PS2's.

So does this combo with the stock tire sizes increase understeer over other models? Also, can the 19s in the rear fit in the front? I doubt that it would, but it seems some of believe it would.

I have an '06 track myself, and think the 19s look great, but the super tiny brakes in the back in combination with the 19s look out of place. Really, the only problems with 19s in the back is replacing tires in a year or so.

I don't know the percentage of tirewall or whatever compared to other models, but in person, it looks fine. Though on another car I have 245/40/18s and 275/35/18s, and both sidewalls, including the front, look smaller. Some of this could be related to the design of the tire however.

Hmm...I was curious to know how much rear tires would cost in the future. The stock size is 265/35/19 which come with Bridgestone RE050As, but tirerack does not carry the RE050As in that size. I go to the bridgestone website and the only tire they carry in that size are some Blizzak LM winter tires.

I'll probably do some 275s when the time comes, but I do find this rather strange.
