The lip of the rim is base off your offset. The tire size is base off your rim size. Two totally different variables you have there. To give you an example of a tire size w/ rim. Most peeps are running 275 series tires on 10 inch and also 10.5 inch rims in the rear. Some say they don't like the stretch look on a 10.5 w/ a 275 series and some disagree with the tire being stretch. That being said I seen a guy fit a 315 series on a 10.5 inch rim. Now you have to ask yourself on your staggered setup I assume you are trying to accomplish. What size rims do you want in the front and rear. Then you want to look for the offset to accomplish the size lip you want in the front and rear. Now you choose the tire size you want to fit on the rim size. Now you have to ask yourself are you going to do a widebody kit to be able to lower your car to fit that tire in your fender well or roll your fenders, that's if you plan on lowering your car. Those are some of the things you have to consider in picking out your staggered setup. Just read and do your research on other Z's on this forum to find the best setup your looking for. GOOD LUCK!

Well i would not want the stretched out look, actually quite the opposite. I want to put on the widest tire possible and keep th ride height stock, hopefully not needing to roll any fenders.

Do you want your tires to be boeing outside of the car like sticking pass the body looking bow leg-it?

The best wheels for lip are either the J or R series Racing harts like the R5 and R7 and J5 and J8...those are all 5" lips in the back. And yes, the Work as well have a huge lip!

I'm not sure if anybody has heard of a wheel that I carry too, its called a "Vellano RSK-5". The lip is over 5.5" easy!

Hit me up if you have any questions!!

the j5's and j8's don't look like they have a big lip because the illusion of the spokes touching the lip.

How about these? I just got them from www.revhighonline.com

Even though they are on my SC430, its 350Z offset. It look like you can put very aggressive offset on SC430.

Thanks to Dave at Status Auto Design
(When he was at F1 Motor Sports, Dave took the time to measure my fender to see what is the most aggressive offset I can fit on my SC430 w/o rubbing)

Front: 19x9 w/+26 offset

Rear: 19x10 w/+26 offset

Damn, those look better than I thought!

I was really skeptical on those offsets, but they really filled the fenders well, and they look very good being flush too!

Thanks again, and if you need anything else, let me know!

DAMN!! 7.5" lip...that is damn ridiculous!

I was about to say...on a stock body Z, I wanna know how!

But a widebody, that is nasty!

Nice avatar of Kristen Kruek by the way!
