Default tire monitor

If I put a set of 20"s on a touring z will it cause a problem with the tire monitor? and how will the ride be?

Your ride will be ****....remember the bigger the rim, the less rubber, the worse the ride. Tire pressure sensors shouldn't have a problem though. Mostly you've got to worry about getting the right size variation from front to rear so your VDC and traction control doesn't freak out.

I need to get the tps installed w/ my nismo wheels, for whatever reason I dont currently have them. How much is it going to cost for me to get the tps ( i dont think i have it on these rims) and get it installed?

Yes the TPMS sending units can be mounted on most aftermarket wheels using the same method as the OEM wheels. If not possible, they may also be banded on the inside of the wheel.

The ride? The sidewall of a 20-inch tire is about 2-inches shorter than that of a 18-inch tire. Think about it.

If you have the tps system and get aftermarket wheels and dont install the sensors in each wheel, is there going to be a warning going off thinking all the wheels are flat all the time or no? I mean what if you put on the spare. Is there a warning going off the whole time because I doubt the donut has a tps sensor in it.
