Default Ame Shallen CX 295 Wide Tires !!!!

Ok guys...
i just got some right sized tires for my 18x9 and 18x10
Ame shallen cx

The fronts are 255/40r18 and the rears are 295/35r18
No RUBBING WHATSOEVER...
It is awesome the handling is amazing
and get this guys.
we weighted the stock 17 front and rear
and the ame shallen's are lighter than the stockers with these wide tires by about 2-3 lbs each..
Which is nice.. reduced a little unsprung weight and increased tire patch.
Enclosed are some pictures.

With the wrong offset (wheels) you might run into problems (true with any size rim and tire really). Also, your car doesn't look lowered, which is another area that people run into problems (which might require rolling/cutting fenders). So yes, it is possible (I don't recall anyone saying it wasn't), but... there can be issues. Your set up works, but personally it looks like you need a 1 to 1 & half inch drop to make it look good. Be interesting to see if you can still prove it works (unmodified).

I run a 295/35/18 on a 10.5" wide SSR wheel lowered with hotchkis without issue

There are tons of people that run 295s in the rear, heck I run a 265 in the front without issue. I thought I even read of people running 305s in the rear without issue

hmmm.... ok... well just a FYI i am lowered on RS*R down springs for 350z..
already lowered the car .6 all around...
and also...
i put the tires on because i wanted to try and sell the wheels with tires..
and from what i've seen not many good lowering springs lower the car much more than say 1 inch.

Yup sadly i must let these wheels go..
they are very nice.. and lighter than stock.. which is suprising cause most 2 piece wheels that i have seen normally are heavier and bulky.
