Question Correct torque for lugnuts?

First, thanks everyone for the info on using 17" wheels and Blizzaks for winter driving. I've ordered wheels and tires (from TireRack) in the stock 17" sizes my Touring has with AT.

Can anyone tell me what torque I should install the lugnuts at?

I'm hesitant to call my dealer, since they suggested I only get snows on the rear (which are not available) and also told me changing to 17" wheels would void my warranty!

Thanks in advance. Only 1100 miles to go until I can REALLY test drive!

Smart move, Doug. Congrats!

I love my Blizzaks!

Remember to re-check the torque after about 100 miles.....mine had loosened up a bit, not much, but the wrench did move on all 20 nuts. Another suggestion: Duct tape the wheel weights. Makes it easier to clean, more aero, AND, all the racers do it! Oh, ya, helps keep the weights on.

Which wheels did you get?

Cool Idea, EnthuZ. I will consider it.

This is a cool forum. I am lamenting the loss of my previous car-love - my 1989 Prelude with 4 wheel steering. She currently rains as the best car I have ever owned (at 149K miles). I think the 350Z is a fitting heir-apparent....
