Default Question: New '06 Track staggered RAYS

I like them, maybe it's just me. I'm thinking about getting a set of these (somehow) to put on my '03 Track. Will they fit the same? That is, have the front and rear hubs stayed in the same position from '03-'06 or have they moved inboard/outboard over the years? Whoever can answer, much appreciated.

Nope sorry they won't work. The 06 has a new muffler bearing installed next to the dogweigh that prevents you from using the different wheels.

Thanks, I know they will work. But will they look and fit the same as on an '06. I would just hate to invest in some, and then find out afterwards the hubs/suspension has a different offeset from the '03's. Do you know what I mean? Do you think the dealer would know? I don't think they know anything about the vehicles they sell.

Ah, now we are getting somewhere. You are saying the '03 exhaust will get in the way if I put the '06 wheels on? How much of an intrusion is it? I was thinking about getting aftermarket exhaust anyway.

Good one! I don't feel so stupid for asking now... What is a dogwheigh? Where is it located? And how is it getting in the way of me installing '06 wheels on an '03? They are only 1" and 1.5" wider and I'm guessing that most of that is offest away or outboard from the hub.

I just looked under my car and I can't see anything related to the muffler or exhaust pipes that even comes close to interferring with the wheels.

Please explain, somebody. Help. I don't want to ask the Nissan service guys. Please don't make me do this. It's like going to get an enema.

dude its a joke. A DOG WEIGHs so many pounds. But it depends on size and breed. The 06 wheels will fit because nothing in the suspension or braking system changed.

To clarify there is no such thing as a dogweigh or muffler bearing.

Per Nissan's website: "RAYS® super-lightweight 5-spoke forged alloy wheels"

Wow, sounds really light....
