take it to a tire shop, theyll be able to pull the tire off and put a patch on the inside, whatever you do, dont put a plug in it...

The wheel is off, put my OEM's back on today. Why not a plug? I really don't want them to dismount the tire, but if I have too then I will!

plugs are dangerous, could come out, maybe cause a blow out. you should be able to get it fixed for around $25 or so. theyll have to take the tire off though.

To fix it properly they will have to dismount the tire. Be careful who u take it to tho, the place that did mine took a gouge out of my rim (which they paid for to be repaired)

It's repairable if the screw didn't mess up the sidewall of the tire.
When I had my GTI, there's a 4" nail punctured thru the tread and sidewall of my 3 months old Michilin Pilot Sport and cost me $280 to replace

If you have a "Les Schwab" there they will do it for free also... Its like a service they do so you think of them when you need to purchase new tires...

Well took it to get repaired, the screw was small enough not to create a leak, no plug or patch required!

Good for you

Just curious tho I had the same kinda screw in almost the same area, pulled it out myself and found that it too was shallow hence no leak. happend a few days ago on my newish 100 mile so far rf pilot sport on my 4s a month ago our Z had a punct from a paper clip of all things.

But a question to you or anyone else, do you have to do anything about the hole that the screw etc.. did leave?
