Will 235 fit fine on OEM 17" front wheel?

Default Will 235 fit fine on OEM 17" front wheel?
I'm thinking of doing snow tires and came across four 235/50/17's on ebay. These would be on a stock set of 17" wheels, my question is will the 235's fit alright on the front 7.5" wheel? Will this throw off the VDC? I need to make sure the VDC works well in winter driving.
