the computer systems would be the same in general but, the variables can easily be changed with a slight program modification of the chip ... which is very typical ...just look at the part numbers and prices

23701-CA000 $1142.00
23701-CA010 $792.00
23701-CA020 $792.00

they wouldn't have three different part numbers for the same ECU which does indicate that there are program differences. The different models do have different computers

Like all tire companies Kunho does make some very good tires and some not so good tires. I really like the performance abilities of the Ecsta MX for a street tire and the V700 series DOT are great for autocrosssing. I can not say anything good about the Ecsta Supra 712 except the price

About the V700 any comments regarding the different options such as standard or shaven or heat cycled? I am not looking for improved performence as the V700 shuold be great but more on longevity will shaving or heat cycle help with life of the tire?

Then the next question, the Kumho's come in standard tread, shaved and heat cycled, which one to get? is the extra money worth it for the shaved or heat cycled and I would be interested more in durability than added performance because I think they will be so much better anyway I don't want to add more performance at the expense of durability.
Yeah, I understand that. Talking to a veteran at the autocross, he told me he was on the same set of kuhmos for 1 year, and he drives them to/from the events. He said they Hoosiers are great, but they only lasted him about 5-6 events.
