bubble, unfortunately 255/35/19 F and 285/30/19 rear (the rear maximumsportz wants to run) actually results in the front tire being taller than the rear, and will definitely have TCS/VDC problems
if you really insist on 285/30/19 rear then stock circumference stagger will be maintained with 255/30/19, not 35 series
those are some pretty thin sidewalled tires, that don't look good (opinion) and won't offer much rim protection (fact).

BTW, have you heard if the 255/35 in the front with a +22 offset will rub? If so, I'm screwed since I was considering getting that next time. My front is 9.5" +19

Dang, the 285's are starting to look better and better. Did you have to roll your fenders with that setup? I like when the tires are flush to the outside body as well, so I will probably get that offset as well.
Cessna, I am also concerned about tracking the car as well with the 285, I don't know if tracking the car with 285 is an advantage or disadvantage.

I went to a few body shops that wanted to bend me over for $300+, then I found a local guy through my local regional forums with a fender rolling tool to do it for less than $100, no paint cracking problems. If you want a super nice stance, and agressive look, do a similar or same offset and roll your rear fenders BTW if you wanna see a pic of the inside of my fender and the tool used, do a search for "fender rolling" in this forum, I posted pictures a while back.
my new 285s (continentals) are rubbing on just about every single bump on the road, and i will need to have them rolled. just thinking if i should mind as well roll the fronts as well.

I forgot that I left something out of my last question. Did you roll your fenders because you lowered your car? I heard 285 can fit with that offset on a non-lowered car.

Hard to say. Im lowered and Im sure that didnt help, but I think even at stock ride height, with even more positive camber you would still rub over large bumps or high speed turns. For less than $100 Id do it for the piece of mind. I think G35's can run this set up with no fender rolling cuz they have slightly more rear fender clearance.

i think it depends on brand too.
i had falken 285s and i was lowered with tein basics and everything was fine. i just switched brands (to continental) and the height of the car remained the same, but it rubs.

just ordered 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 for my 9.5 and 10.5 +22 GT7's. I think from looking at alberto's 285 pics the sidewalls on the BFG KDW'2 in the 275 will look just right. not too tall not too stretched. I went specially with the KDW-2 for this reason. 275 in toyos on a 10.5 would have looked too stretched.

max and alberto's DB's are so nice makes me wanna kick myself for not getting that color. Almost every car I've owned was a blue/purple color. Dont get me wrong though, I'm still in love with my ppw. I'll post pics of my new setup by the end of this week. Tirerack just shipped out my tires.
