Where's the best place to buy Toyo T1S or T1R's ? How much are you guys paying for your Toyo 245/35/19 and 275/35/19's?

discount tire can get you pretty much anything tire/wheel related. just cause its not on their website, doesnt mean they can get it. i have a business account with discount tire, and they have always been able to meet or beat the cheapest prices ive seen anywhere else

I just got some yesterday, at Status Auto, $900 mounted and balanced w/my brand spanking new DB 19" GT-Vs, but I don't think that will help you in Michigan (I just wanted to brag)!!

Really!!! I was shopping around for tires and went to get a quote from them... $1399.00 (285/255) mounted and balanced... Needless to say Im not going to get my tires from them...

 

I was shopping for T1Rs a few months ago and found these places to be the cheapest. Depending on where you live though, the shipping and tax might eat the savings.

How would you guys rate the Toyos compared to the BFG KDW2?

 

Any experience with them? Prices look good.

 

I have about 6000 miles on my T1 Rs. They are doing fine; less noise, no worse in handling than stock, grip is good, and no signs of feathering yet.

I did have the wheels aligned by the dealer when he installed the Toyos.

And I don't push the handling limits as far as many on here.

 

Nope. Not yet but I may give them a try when I need tires later.

 

I've read a couple reviews bashing the T1 tires. C&D rated them pretty low.

 

Another thing you can do is get some used tires. Go to your local meet, and when nobody is looking, steal someone elses tires. Since you probably can't dismount the tires from the wheels, you can get a new set of wheels as well! Sure, they may be used, but for free, who's complaining!

And don't worry, nobody will say anything if you act like its your car.

 

The T1-S were good tires but a bit on the loud side....the new T1-Rs are great..they are quieter than the T1-S and offer the same of not better grip. The T1-Rs do need a few hundred miles (when new) to really get them to optimal performance..so dont be alarmed if they are not the grippiest right off the back
