Don't take the show cars as how they are driven on the street. I watched the tuners setup their cars for the shows. They drive them into the hall and them drop them down on their coilovers for the shows and raise them up after the show is over.

I buy ALL my wheels direct from Japan. So I laugh everytime I hear someone say they are the only one selling a wheel or part here in the states. It is funny how you post pics of the TAS show and you didn't even go.

value:
one question for you.......do you get waranty from Rays if you buy it directly from Japan? if not, just be quiet.....
cause I think DTD is gonna have all the manufacture support, since it's a REAL distributor for the US.

Question Question

Does anyone know the weight of the 18-inch one piece wheels in the 8, 9 and 10 inch widths?

Currently there are no width options for the 18's. Im sure that will change shortly though.

Value...if you can get them, Im sure it will be pretty hard to ship to the states and come anywhere near our price.

Discount Tires is the EXCLUSIVE USA distributor for this rim. DTD posted to let others know where to buy them. Who cares if he attended the show or not, they are photos of the rim on a Z. This is exactly what I'd want to see before buying/ordering the rims. Why insult him for not going? Many others posted images from the TAS and they didn't go either, do they make you laugh as well?

In the future, valuetl, I would ask that rather than posting a negative response to one's post, you consider how it might be perceived by others.
A negative response it may have been but, I also believe DTD may have commercially hijacked Value's thread by including the exclusivity of distribution. Value's quick to be first posts on new wheels and their introduction at TAS shouldn't be lightly disregarded by a business claim. The gray market has always existed when it comes to sole North America distributorship due to the usual higher prices coming from a monopoly...King Motorsports and Mugen comes to mind. Not to say Discount Tires would be prohibitively espensive as I have done business with them and their prices are reasonable if not very good. And from my experience, sole distributorship has not always meant better warranty coverage, it will always come at the sole discretion of the retailer.

DiscountTireDicrect, I don't see them on the website. I don't see any Rays on the site. Maybe I am just blind.

I by no means meant to "hijack" the thread. Only to inform readers with Fact. Value very well may be able to buy from the japan market, but at a higher cost + shipping to the states. Value as being part of the States may also be declined when he tries to purchase these due to our contract, but I do not know. I posted these wheels up long before, the thread has just slipped down after some time.

Default G-Games

On one of the earlier responses on this thread someone mentioned that these wheels are available in white. Does anyone have more info in those? They would look hot on a ppw if the color of the wheels matches the pearl on the car. Any info would be appreciated

Looks like white is out, and Gold is a special order.

Uh...Mr Discount tire Direct... I have a couple questions...

-The G games wheels sold through you; will they carry a RAYS logo or a Wolf Logo?

- If not, will the 19inchers be the same quality as the Rays.

-Will 19 by 10 inch rears fit a track model and still be able to display some nice lip?

answers appreciated. Thanks in advance!

18's come only in 18 x 7.5 widths only. Colors are silver, gunmetal and gold. We buy wheels direct from Rays. Rays says to run a 19x8 +24 and 19 x 9 +28 for the Z33 in their release info fax that was faxed to us from Rays. We carry a full warranty on all our wheels from all our vendors.
