Thoughts on these wheels? Thinking of getting these in Hyper Black just like the PIAA's.

You don't see that many Z's with Kenisis wheels, I really like them but I think they are overpriced.

Kinesis wheels are made custom just like HRE and yes, they are spendy! Once you figure out what you want they will be able to give you exactly what you want down to the mm. They would be a great choice IMO.

Yeah, I just looked into the pricing & yes Kinesis pricing is just ridiculous . I've found other manufacturers that make similar wheels but the pricing is very similar.

I've been continuously browsing the internet & I must say I've seen a lot I liked. Most were out of my price range but definitely a lot of potentials . I've already seen a few of these on some Z's but I must admit, quite a few of the RH wheels definitely have HUGE lips (4"-5" lip)! Here are some of my favorites:

Just found the Deepest Lip Thread. This should help a bit but most of the wheels shown has pretty much been mentioned.

Ame wheels shallen Cx will give you pretty big lip
Ame Circlar R and Rs will give you big lip as well
Also work euroline S2h will give good lip.

If you want lip stay away from anything that is a stepped lip design.

Thanks! The CX & R/Rs doesn't look to bad but I'm looking for something a bit different with the center design. Not really feelin the S2H.

I don't mind step lips if it looks like this which I think is hawt...

if you want.
i suggest meister s1 2 piece. we can get you a great deal on those wheels.
Also another major factor is are you willing to roll fenders.
and what size tire are you looking to get.

I was actually looking at those as well but I kinda like the bolt pattern that the 3pc has. I currently have the bolt pattern on my current wheels. No, I don't mind rolling or cutting my fenders if needs be. As far as tires, I'm willing to go as WIDE as possible in the rear. I like the rims I have now but I really want a fatter lip (especially in the rear) & a non-polished center piece since it's a real PIA to keep clean. I currently have the following setup:

IForged Evolutions (polished): 20x9(F) + 20x10(R) w/ BFG KDW2 255/35(F) + 285/30(R) dropped on Hotchkis Sport Springs (.8"-1").

I don't mind moving down to 19's as well. It may look better since it'll wrap my BBK snuggly. I'm going to install some Wilwood 14" BBK (Front + Rear) later this week so they'll have to accomodate my brakes.

What I'm looking for is a setup that is:

- Unique: Not too many people have them.
- Able to fit 14" Wilwood BBKs (front/rear)
- Nothing too expensive. I don't want to spend 4K on just wheels. Maybe around 3K w/o tires.
- Non polished. Looking at Silver/Brushed Aluminum like the door handles or Gunmetal/Hyper Black like the PIAA Super Rozza. Still want a polished lip though.
- Biggest lip possible with BBK setup.
- Fairly light-weight & forged.
- Something that will compliment my kit (Vertex Full Bumper Kit).

Hope this helps narrow things down.

Thanks!

Hmm...looking closer at the Meister S1 2pc & it actually might look pretty good especially if I can get that center piece painted like the PIAA Super Rozza's since I have a SS . These look like they fit the Brembos but would I still get that big of a lip with my Wilwoods? The picture above looks perfect to me!

James, if you upgrade, please GO UP. Don't go down.

seem like PIAA has the deepest lip 4.75 and stay within your range.

Hahaha. Man, if you're talking about slapping something bigger than 20's...that's not my thing bro . I'll definitely be looking for some nice wheels though. I'm starting to consider somthing a bit sportier looking & since I'll be running 14" rotors all around which equals more weight, I'm looking to take some weight off somewhere so that is why I'm open to going 19's. It may look better too since those rotors would fill the 19's out a lot more than it would with 20's. Don't worry bro...I'm still down for my 20" family .

no. not talking about going more than 20". Even though, i'm ready to create a new family for 21". hehehe

I'm talking about brand. I don't see the point of getting rid of Iforge and go down to Volk or RH..stuff like that.

Nothing wrong with Volk or RH. I'd still consider them as good as iForged. The only difference is, iForged is over-priced much like the Kinesis wheels I posted earlier. Keep in mind that iForged is pretty much a replica of HRE's which is another overpriced wheel company. I've already told myself to stay away from a few brands already (which I will not say) but I'll definitely go with a very reputable brand.

Who says I was going with Volk's . They maybe on my radar for possibilities but the point you posted above is definitely a factor I have thought about. That's why I created this thread to get a feel for what's out there already & to brainstorm on some ideas.
