Default Tire Mismatch??

So its time to replace my rears. I currently have 245/35/19 up front and 275/30/19 in the rear (9.5"). The tires are Hankook Ventus and I never was in love with the ride, or their traction. However, I really don't have the money at the moment to change all 4 tires. I want to go 285/35/19 in the rear but the Hankook Ventus series doesn't come in that size. Is there anything wrong with going with a different brand (besides the look)? I mean it won't screw up the ride quality or performance would it?

You think it would look ghetto with different tires in the rear?

Nah, you'll be fine. I did it for over 10k miles...no issues. Going to be doing again soon too with my new rims. It's certainly easier to choke down half the cost!

I am in the same situation as well. You will be fine as long as they are same tread wear. I just saved 400 bucks by doing this. got my fronts/rears for total of 526. sizes 245/35/19 and 285/35/19. go ebay!

The front and rear tire mismatch is OK. The question is...

How tall are the front tires?
How tall are the rear?
