New look for 2006......DB Volk GT-7
I posted this in the G forum, but thought I would post here as well for those that don't visit over there.
My Volk GT-7's arrived today.
19 x 9.5 +23 255/35/19 toyo
19 x 10.5 +30 285/35/19 toyo
I am on stock suspension and so far the tires don't rub, although I really haven't beat the car with the new wheels cause I am running really rich. Mark from SGP is coming out next week to install the HKS FCON V-pro and will be retuning. My car was tuned in Houston and the temp was 50 degrees. It's in the high 80's in Miami and the car didn't take well to the temp increase.
Big thanks to Chris from F1 Motorsports for the great price and awesome service. I orginally put a deposit on these rims at the end of September 2005, and shortly after fried 3 pistons on my motor. Chris couldn't let me cancel the order because he had already recieved them, but offered to hold my wheels until I got my car back. That's service! I bought the caps, but they are on back order so as soon as Chris gets them he will ship them to me.
I'll give the car a good detail and post pics and new dyno numbers after the HKS FCON is installed.

Until you get a better cam and take better pics, I'm not even going to comment on your new rims. For all I care, you can take all your rims and shove it up your ***, one by one.. with no lube!
Ok just kidding, nice rims and clean looking car

Thanks! How's your grip with your new tire set up? Did you finally sell your old set up? I remember seeing your for sale thread. I was going to buy them, but I wanted Diamond Black.
I am going to go with 295/30's next time....maybe 305/30's. I wanted to see how these fit first. I still have some room if I cut the fendors.....will do that next time.

Lookin good! I really like black/black especially with the volk db's.
Unfortunately you can't get much good rubber for 19 inch dress shoes. The only thing that comes to mind are the Pirelli Pzero Corsas which are really expensive, wear really fast, and are made for road racing. With that much power I think I'd go with some 18in volks and throw some bfg dr's on the rear.

Honestly I've never even gone to the track. If I get serious enough I will buy me some slick and put them on some RX-7 wheels for the rears. I need to upgrade my axles first.
