Default How Should Z Tires Be Rotated ???

Was told by a local tire shop that the Z's tires should not, or rather did not need to be swapped side to side. They said just an alignment was needed on these cars. Needless to say i did not take it to that shop as it sounded like bullsh*t. Were they correct?

they were correct, stock wheels can't be moved front to rear and even aftermarket rims shouldn't be the same size front and rear...

For any car, the only time you can rotate left to right is when you don't have directional tires.

Also for any car, the only time you can rotate front to back is when you have the same size rims *and* tires.

The 350Z in both cases, this will be very unlikely.

you have to take the tires off the wheels
then swap them left and right
which is significantly more money than just a standard rotation that shops do for free...

As kwame@z1 mentioed, see the sticky. This complicated rotation is expensive. About $100. I don't believe that the cost outweighs the benefits.

Just to be clear, the tires must be FLIPPED on each wheel before swapping left wheel for right wheel. Since most performance tires are directional.
