Talking 19s lowering

So I finally pull the trigger lol and bought the 19' axis matrix. Just waiting for them now. I was doing some research and I found out that the Z is infamous for wheel gap. and when you add after market wheels it looks like an SUV if you don't lower it.

I tried searching the forume but there are sheit load of info on springs/shocks and other stuff. All I want is something that I can lower my car with with mininal cost and minimal change to my stock ride quality and something that I can raise during winter if I decide to driver the car in winter with my stock wheels.

What should I get coilovers. I don't care about improving my performance or handeling all I want is too keep my ride quality and factory setting just lower my car to a reasonable height. Also I don't want to Void any sort of warranty.

Help me out PleASE>>>>

if all you want to do is raise and lower the car, try tein basics.

Easy-go woth Hotchkis Springs----> .8" drop, designed to be used with stock shocks, and a good alignment shop should get you back within stock specs, so no camber kits....also very cheap like $140 or so. Check out the website in my signature to get some

They are just springs, you would have to put the stock ones back on to raise it up. The cheapest height adjustable suspension is probably the Tein Basics and they run ~$700.

If this is one of your conditions then you can only get Nismo. .8 drop I believe. Any aftermarket mod to your suspension other than Nismo will void your warranty!

I lowered my z with some Tein springs. It lowered the fender height to I believe 26"front/27"rear. It wasn't too much a drop I think about .6inch front and .7inch in the rear overall. I have the Matrix Pentas with 245/35/19 & 275/35/19. The ride is great and lowered it enough so that the 4x4 look went away. Springs ran about $150.00 and install was $130.00 I wouldn't recommend installing yourself unless you've done it before. I'm going to try and post some pics this weekend of my car b4 and after spring install.
