Wow, that's quite a drop in tire width compared to your street setup. That relatively narrow compared to what most other people go with for heir track setup. Why did you pick those sizes?

Running the same size tire/wheel front and rear will also allow you to rotate your tires for more even tire wear. As already mentioned, another huge benefit is a loss of understeer. I have two setups: 17x9.5 5Zigen ProRacer GN+'s with 275/40/17's that I have street rubber on which I am currently running for both street and track, but I also have a set of 17x9 5Zigen fn01rc's that have 275/40 hoosiers on them. I will probably run the hoosiers next time at the track (probably MSR during ZCON) now that I have some camber as I'm currently testing the prototype camber/caster arms made by SPLParts.

Regardless of what you choose, put the widest tires on that you can fit and fine tune the understeer/oversteer with sway bars adjustments, shock settings, and tire pressures.

I went with them becausue they are mounted on OEM 18" Touring wheels which are 18x8 so they really can't take a much wider tire than a 235. I choose those wheels because they were cheap and I knew they would fit over my Stoptechs. Remember most guys are using much wider aftermarket wheels and my street wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 which is why I run the 245/275 setup. Trust me the 235 race rubber will give me plenty of grip.

Oh, I trust you. It's just that there are too many possibilities. It's driving me nuts :P
