need new rear tires, got a few ?s
i recently received 2 new front tires free of charge from my dealership (feathering issue). my rear tires are pretty bald. I have an enthusiast model w/ 225/50/17 front 235/50/17 rear. i hate the oem tires and would never consider buying them again.
so my question is should i go w/ the stock rear tire size w/ a different brand? this is the option i would prefer im just concerned about feel and stability at high speeds, any tire recommendations here would be great. 235/50/17 isn t the most popular size.
another option would be to keep the stocks up front and put 245/45/17 or 255/45/17 in the back. prob not lookin to do this.
and the final option would be to replace the fronts and rears and go 245/45/17 front 255/45/17 rear with somethin inexpensive and good quality like the bfgoodrich sport. any input would be appreciated.
