Default tire mix?

Is it ok to get different type tires for front and rear? For example, would it be ok to get dunlops in the front and toyos in the rear? Or a generic one in the front e.g. continental, general, etc and a better tire in the rear e.g. bridgestone, bf goodrich, etc.? And what tire size recommendations would you have for a 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the rear. Keeping in mind that I'm not a fan of the stretch look and I want decent lip protection and do not want to do any type of fender mods. I will not be dropping my car. please help me. thanks.

Other than different sidewall looks, it make no difference. Just keep the same type of tire on the same axle.
