Any Tire or Wheel Vendor have the 19" Staggered Setup of the Ruff Racing 279 in HB?
Vendors,
Does anyone have the 19x8.5 +20 front and 19x9.5 +20 rear Ruff Racing 279 or 278 wheel in Hyperblack for the Nissan 350z in STOCK? Status wheels says that they are already made and on the boat from China but they have no idea when they are going to get hear, they say 30 days, and they keep on telling me that every two weeks I call them, alright every week I call them.
Thanks

Yeah but are they real and not knock off's. I called the vendors that Status deals with and none of them have the Ruff 278 or 279, www.n4smotors.com and www.rttire.com. I would buy them off ebay if they were a reputable company plus that picture from www.vqmotoring.com doesn't even look like the Ruff 279. I need help!
ruff racing wheels arent all that great to begin with to be perfectly honest. they are already just replica wheels. Here is a link from that last site you posted.. they are selling a set of 279's on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ruff-...spagenameZWDVW
edit* i just notice they are advertising 5x112 bolt pattern... but showing pix on a z.. thats retarded. I would just call around and see who has a set.

First, I've read of some people buying 279s from vqmotoring and with good experiences. One of the owners Ricky Cruz is on 350zmotoring.com I think under the screen name of "topless". They're based out of Orlando, FL or near there.
Second, I love how people automatically put down any brands other than RH or Volk etc..etc...etc...This is my theory, I had factory 17s which are cast and painted. Do I honestly think they are any better than any other cast and painted wheel (Ruffs for example) just because they're OEM? I think not. And, how often do we hear about stockers bending or defecting...little if at all. I'm not denying that volks and rh are great wheels due to being forged, but I think the bandwagon has been ridden a little too long by too many people. There are pleanty of reputable aftermarket products including wheels that have been ignore by the stereotypical z community.
