I don't want to seem like an ***...

but these type of "help me choose" threads kill me. I mean, what has society turned to when the opinions of others matter more than your own. In this age of globalization and technology, are we just so lazy that we have others think and choose for us? Or there may something even more wrong here- that being the suppression of your opinion for the sake of another's opinion. It's pretty much like admitting that you can't think, and you'd like others to think for you. I can't help but think these threads can't be serious.

Sorry for the rant... but had to get that off my chest.

Ahhhhh... that felt better.

Cheers and have a nice day dudes.

Great suggestion!

If you don't know what wheels he's talking about, here's a pic(these are the flat black, not gloss):

SF - more show type. . . LE more JDM Race type. Personally Id go with the LE37T in black for a little more exclusivity, they're limited and not that many people have them.

Yea those are pretty nice, They look alot like the challenges, but im sure cost alot more. I already thought about them, but i dont think i can afford the new Volks. Since the new volks are out, the older models are getting a little cheaper i think. So i can afford them.

And to this; Im Very capable of thinking on my own. I know what i like, and want. But these 2 are so close in my mind, that i needed others opinions, and pictures of their cars to just kinda give me that nudge to one side or the other. Feel me?

IMO.. the SF Challenges don't look good without a big brake kit... the skinny spokes just make the stock non brembo calipers and rotors look tiny.

the LE37t's will perform a little better because they are lighter and the 6 thicker spokes will look better without a BBK.. also, I dunno if you've been following the Volk polished lip discoloration threads but the machined (not polished) lip will have less of a chance of this happening.

The lips of the volks have been discoloring? Is it a specific thread you are talking about? or a bunch of em?

There were a couple of these threads.. here's the main one:

https://my350z.com/forum/cleaning-and-detailing/166662-volk-wheels-discoloration.html

i thought mine was discoloring too but i was just being paranoid I guess it really doesn't affect the machined lips.. only the polished two piece wheels, it seems..
