I was wondering if i moved the back tires up front and got this size 245/45/17 for the rears would it effect the car? Would I get better traction? Oh and all the rims are the same size and weight for the 17's right? THX!

 

Why would you want to do that?

try 235/45/17 fronts and 255/45/17 rears.

Or get some good wheels and go 255 & 275

Considering our cars are rear wheel drive...I would recommend wider on the rear for better traction.

Most people running aftermarket wheels are running 245 front and 275 or wider on rear.
