The lightest wheels will be by far a forged magnesium wheel. Check out www.neez.co.jp. An 18 inch wheel is like 14lbs to 16lbs. Volk makes a magnesium wheel in its TE37 series, and BBS makes a magnesium wheel too.

Aren't the magnesium wheels made for track use only due to inherent durability concerns with magnesium? If not, I'll be in the market for the forged mag spoke.
OCG, where did you find those pics? I've looked on rays sights, both japanese and english and couldn't find a thing except for the mag te's.

if you are looking for a straight up track setup, no cost worries, go with a 17 inch 9 wide front and rear (unless youa re FI, then wider rear...) TE37 mag. also, shop around for lieght weight tires, their are differences in weights from one tire to another. also, you will want a sidewall of at least 40 for the track. fill up with gas in the tires instead of oxegen too, keeps heat down and keeps constant pressure.

TE37 Forge Mag will be my next set of wheels. For now, I have the TE37's. I got them scaled for accurate weights.
Scale: Salter Brecknell Digital Scale; 150 lbs x .2 lbs
Elevation: 125-150ft above sea

Enkei RPF1 wheels are almost identical in weight to TE 37's at about half the cost. Very advanced manufacturing too. Check this out:
