My baby needs new shoes, and I'm having a hard time finding any that fit my rims. Most of the tire models in this thread are no longer in stock. I have the 18" Nismos, 8.5" front and 9.5" rear rims. I'm taking off RA1's, 245/40 and 275/35.
Does anyone have suggestions for tires that are currently available? TIA.
I have a 2003 350Z, Track edition, Redline red, too many mods to list.

Thanks, I've had several previous Potenza models on the car and didn't like any of them but may have to try again. How do you find the grip? Dry and wet? What about road noise?
The only things I'm finding available in the sizes I need are the RE760's, Mich PS2's, and Sumi HTR Z III's (and some junk I wouldn't put on the car). I wanted MPSS's but there aren't any available, nor anything from Toyo. This tire replacement has become more difficult than anticipated.

Why not the Hankook v12? I've got them on my LMGT4's, 245/40 and 275/40. Tirerack.com was almost giving away the version 1 since the version 2 are out, but even at regular price they're great tires.
Hi guys thanks for all the info. I am always reading the forums trying to learn more about my car.
it took me most of the day to read through the whole thread.
My goal was to find some info on the OEM 370z Nismo wheels.
So anyways, yesterday I bought a set and of course they didnt fit!
After doing some research I ordered 5mm spacers for the front and ill get the rear fenders rolled I might roll the fronts just in case.
I will try to get it all done tomorrow.
Fingers crossed.
PS: I have the OEM suspension non brembo brakes.
Wheel and tire specs.
front 19x9.5 +40, 245/40/ZR19 RE050A
19x10.5 +23 285/35/ZR19 RE050A

What do you mean that they don't fit, did they not clear your calipers?
You can't roll the front fenders, I would have suggested switching to 245-35-19 to give you some more room in the front wheel wells

Well, I got the eibach 5 mm spacers so I mounted one front wheel and there is about 1 or 2 mm between the wheel and the suspension arm. I was able to slide a paper folded 4 times between them. I am not sure if that's enough clearance Im a noob. I talked to a body shop around here and they also said they don't roll front fenders because they are not strong enough. So I am going to take the car there and see what we can do about the rears. I know a lot of people have done this in the past however I am having doubts about all this. I don't want a half *** fit. If the wheels don't fit properly then Ill just sell them.
Ah gotcha, yeah the fronts are a high offset to clear the 370z's Akebonos, a small 3mm spacer should help clear the arm
You can have the rear rolled and that should help you out

All that being said, there is just something about Nismo wheels on Zs that I like, even better than aftermarket wheels. Since I have had my 350Z I have had multiple Nissan/Nismo wheels on the car, including the original OEM wheels, a set of 2003 Track wheels, Nismo LMGT-4s (which I still have), Nismo 370Z wheels and now Nismo 350Z wheels. I have also had two different sets of Volk G2s on the car. Out of all of them I like the Nismo 350Z wheels the best on the Z33 and the Nismo 370Z wheels best on the Z34 in terms of how they fit the car.
I can completely relate, I would rather sell my car then sell my LM's
It's funny I just can't find a wheel I like more so I just keep running my NISMO's
The LMZ-5's look good on the 370z but they need spacers for sure!
