Default Ok so what happens if I don't mount the TPS

I am purchasing some aftermarket rims and have been reading all the threads about the TPS mounting. Sounds like a huge hassle to me. What problems are there when you don't use them, aside from checking your tire pressure the old fashion way. Is there an annoying dash light or something else? Do any of you guys not mount them? I own an 03 touring not sure if that matters. Thanks guys.

you'll probably get the low tire pressure light flashing, but you may be able to have the dealer disable it. i found the tps mounting to be a fun project, but that's just me.

why would you need tps to pass inspection? that means every other car that doesnt have it would fail.
