Talking Finally got good pics of my Volks :)

Well, got my wheels in and put on about a month ago. Took some pictures, my harddrive died before I could upload them. So I washed and waxed the car this weekend and took some more pics and just got them up. Wheel specs listed at top of gallery...tell me what you think

I REALLY like 'em...18's with mean offset are great! If it were my car it would come down though! 50mm?
Great Gunmetal/Silverstone combo BTW.

j!

265 in the front?! WTF! Can you turn the wheel lock to lock without rubbing? :O

Maybe it's my monitor settings here at work but I can barely see the wheels in any of the pictures. Most of your pictures are at too much of an angle. The ones that aren't, though, have the wheels in the shadow of the car.

Even though I can't see 'em, they're bad ***. Good choice.

Wheel specs are

Rear: 18x10.5 +22
Front: 18x9.5 +22

Tire specs are

Rear: 295/35-18
Front: 265/35-18

And yes, 265's fit up front with 0 rubbing issues even at full lock. The rear fenders had to be rolled a bit (just used a baseball bat). Everyone I have talked to said it really transformed the car and I would have to agree.

Ok. I'm looking at your pics at home now and I can see them perfectly. They look great. I'm ordering wheels tomorrow.

Looks great 002-M-P, I am in the process of trying to decide on new rims/tires I love your choice. I am looking for lightweight 18" wheels, but may just go 9.5" all the way around.
Who did you order from?
Is it normal for Volks to come without center caps?

LOL I did end up ordering my Volks yesterday. I've been going through the same thing. (Why did I spend so much on wheels?) Now for the good old 90 day wait. I marked the 90th day on my calendar at work. (It's not 90 working days, is it?!)

Thanks again everyone.

Salvo: When you buy volks you have to buy the center caps seperately (at least with the original volks, not sure about the VR series like the SF-Challenges). I figured I would see how it looked without them and if I didn't like it I could always get them later, but I love the way it looks and probably will never buy centers.

Wholey Smokes: Well they say and ESTIMATED 60-90 day wait (or 2-3 months). It ends up they had some QC issues or something midway through when I was waiting for my wheels and actually took an entire 158 days or 5 months and 7 days But yes, it is technically 60-90 days total (not working days).

PS. I always like telling people this...it took 13,651,200 seconds to get my wheels....13 million thats rediculous.

Wow. I'll consider myself lucky if they get here in 3 months, then.
