Default weird handling prob..??

Alright guys so here’s the thing. I have a 03 track and I needed to get 4 new tires. I use to have toyo t1s 245/45/18 in the rears and some normal brand 225/45/18 in the front and my car use to hang like a champ, it hug the turns with no prob. Now I got 4 brand new toyo proxes 4 225/45/18 in the front and 245/45/18 and now I cant take turns worth ****. My suspension feels like **** its weird my car is not stiff anymore it wont hug turns like it use to at all. WHY IS THAT...?? IS IT JUST BECAUSE OF MY TIRES..?? I only had 2 good ones in the back and 2 ****ty ones in the front and it took turns like nothing. Now I got 4 all the same tires toyos and it takes turn like crap.

some tyres have convex side walls, and some are almost flat. flat ones will feel stiffer than convex ones. but if your problem is ultimate grip of the tyre then that will be down to the compound of the tyre or tread pattern.

also you have to break in the new tires.new tires have a releasing agent in the tread to release from the mold.so all you have to do is wear off the releasing agent and youll be fine.a couple hundred miles will do it.

Yup, just break in the tires for a few hundred miles. My '03 Track felt exactly the same when I put new tires on it.

+1... in fact, if you read the various suggestions at big name tracks (Sebring, etc...) they will say to break in new tires before driving them on the track.
