shipping wheels and tires

Have any of you ever done this, if so, how did you package the wheel and tire combo?

Get a lot of tape and cardboard. And cardboard the wheel area inside and out and tape the crap out of it.

I did that with my Track wheels/tires, and for all (4), it was $96.00 for shipping! Took it to Kinkos!
