Default 18x9.5+15 fronts....

will this work? I don't have brembos or bbk. its either that size or 18x9.5+38. i figure the +15 offset would work better then the +38 for the front. thanks

What's your goal here, run the widest possible front tire or aggressive offset for looks? I run a 17 x 9 +35 with a 275 width tire for track use without any rubbing. If you go with the +15 you will probably have to stretch the tire to make it work, probably 235/245 width maximum. BTW, I just so happen to have a wheel in that size ( ) with a 275 width tire on it, and I can test fit it if you want.

I think he knows what he is talking about, I just think you are both looking at this with different perspectives.

Knowing what size tires you want to run and if you are lowering your car is important.

If you want to run a wide tire, like a 275 on a +15 wheel you will rub because the tire tread is going to stick out about 14mm past the fender.

What he is saying is that if you run a 245 with a stretch it will take on a 9.5" wheel, your tread may stay inside the fender just enough that it wont rub even though the bead of the tire may be outside the fender.

A +38 on the fronts are gonna rub the suspension. Do they not make your wheels in something more Z friendly like a +22~30 ?

HyperSprite is right.

I have 18x9.5 +22 with a 275/35/18 front tire and it rubbed until I flared the front fenders a bit. I can only imagine what a +15 would do.

With a 245 you will get the stretch look but the tires may be thin enough to tuck under the fender.
