Arrow VOLK SF WINNING - Replica or Lookalikes?

I want these wheels real bad but damn they are so expensive. With good company wheels I know that there is always replica or lookalike versions of them out. With that, can anyone suggest/know a lookalike version to these rims or perhaps a replica of the same model.

Gold Edition

Lower Right - Silver Edition

From my understanding the 3 piece wheels, the GT series in particular, are not completely forged but a cast center. The drum on the other hand is forged. The only wheels I can think of that are forged are the Volk TE37, LE37T, Progressiv Spoke/ME/TE, LE28N, and CE28N.

3k is alot but remeber sometimes you get what you pay for and instead of buying wheels for $1800 that your going to like somewhat get wheels that you really want. I'm not saying volks are the best but in the end if you get what you want your going to be happier. Of course there are quite a few companies that make good looking wheels that are well made.

Mesh wheels are common so if you keep looking you find some. these might not be any cheaper but try BBS, and OZ.

volks can be had for 2k or less. you just have to wait for sales. i contemplated going cheaper with some axis hiros but i knew i wouldnt completely happy. i would eventually regret spending $1200 on something i wasnt completely happy with. so i waited saved up a bit more money and spent $2k on something i was going to be completely satisfied with.

2k for just the wheels or both wheels and tires. I got my Volks GT-S's and tires for $3200.

Also to the guy that said Volks are 3-piece...I think their multi-piece wheels are actually 2-piece.

+1 i dont' think volks makes 3 piece rims. And yes, the SF-Winnings are Forged Barrel and Cast Centre.

the ADR's don't come in blingy gold though

Volks should only be 2 piece, Work are the ones who make 3piece wheels.

Just buy the wheel you want, dont get replicas that you probably will eventually sell off in the future to get the real thing.

+100 on this comment after saving up and getting Gold Volk Challenges i will never go back to replicas its like a night and day difference!
Get the real thing they are lighter and stronger, and you will save yourself the headache in the future of getting the cheap wheels dents fixed.

Any replica of this wheel looks like a replica from 10 miles away. I would save for the real deal. These used to be my all-time favorite wheels ever.

The only down side to owning these wheels would be cleaning the backside of the rim, it looks impossible w/o removing the wheel. But I do still love these wheels....please don't settle.

Also check out the market for a used set.....also get them in 9.5/10.5 combo if possible.

[QUOTE/]

I know what you mean! But trust me when you save up your $$$ for the wheels that you want its a great feeling. I was going to go with some unnammed wheels but couldn't get past the fact that i would be disappointed.

I got my wheels Work (VS-XX) cause I saw them on a silver Z on this site. Then I visited a rim shop (STATUS) and Rick had them on display. After that I just save my money and after 4 months I had them on my Z.
