Default Toyo TS-1's installed

I went with 245/40 18 ft and 245/45 18 rear on stock Ray rims, impressions:

Looks: Nice agressive tread design but, it could be toned down a bit. Looks like I'm ready to go "off road".

Handling: Cant really comment on this since I havent raced with either Tire. Turn in response seems about the same and steering feel is no heavier than before.

Computer interference: None that I notice.

Ride & noise: I do believe the Toyos are better in both these gatagories.

All in all I'm pleased with my decision. Wider rubber without sacraficing performance. Quite with a better ride quality. I like em.

Sorry, I did not actually get on a scale and weight them. However there is a web site for Toyo (toyo.com) were you can get weights for all sizes. And there is also a wed site for the stock potenza's that will give you the weights. I do not know where that thread is at however. Compareing equal sizes they are lighter by a couple of pounds each I believe.

I am buying some T1S this week. In terms of weight, I noticed the Kumho Ecsta MX is also the same weights as the T1S. Luckily I got the T1S for the same price as the MXs.
