Default 10.5" Tyre Sizes and Photos

Hi Guys,

What type and size tyres are guys running on 10.5" wide rims?

Im after a perfect tyre fit without it ballooning or being stretched?

If anyone has photos of what theirs look like I would love to see.

Thanks
Murray

^^^ Those are my Volk 19"x10½" +22 offset with 285/35/19 Michelin PS2s. They're about the largest you can fit on a non-lowered car without having to roll the fenders.

On a 10.5" wide wheel 275-35-19 will looked strecthed. Most people do it so they can have an aggresive offset and not rub. I had BFG KDW2 and it looked stretched even though everyone said the BFG's run wider than most tires. I ended up getting 285-35-19 toyos and it was the look I was looking for. Lucky for me my offset is not aggresive so I do not rub. If you do 285-35-19 with +25 or lower you most likely will rub.

Thanks for the responses.

Yeah I feel 275 is too small. 285 might be minimum to get it looking decent. Damn 305 is a big tyre!

Damn, those 305's look hot! Must be quite a bit more expensive though then 275/35's?

(btw, took me 4 times to type 305 correctly as I'm so used to type 350 )

10.5" +23 Offset
275/35/19 BFG KDW-NT

I prefer the slightly stretched look...makes the wheel look bigger.

Evewry manufacturer has the minimum and maximum tire rim widths for a given tire size printed on the spec sheet.

Hers is the one on the Michelin site for thew PS2. Go to the bottom of the page.

http://www.michelinman.com/specs/pil..._ps2/2958.html

Generally on a 10.5" wide wheel the manufacturer wil specify a 265 to a 315.
