Default Should I put the Volks on

I am debating whether I should put my Volks on. I am taking an 800 mile road trip when I move to Texas next week. Movers are coming and I am concerned they might damage my wheels? They are sitting in my closet all nice and clean,

And then again I really don't want any highway road rash either! What to do?

that's a toughie...how about loading them up in your maxima? If it were me though, i'd trust driving on them a whole lot more than movers touching them! But then again if anything happens you can get the movers to cover the damages...at least i think!

Yeah but I only paid $2400 for the Volks and tires (valued at over $4K) and I will get depreciation if they damage them! Plus where I am moving there are no wheel repair shops that I know of.

Can't put them in the Maxima, my fat (2) ***** cats will be in the back seat, and the trunk is packed full!

I am curious as to how they package them. Last time I had OEM wheels moved they just rolled them on the 18 wheeler,

I think I just made my mind up!

+1 put your wheels on if you are really concerned with the movers. If you dont trust them with your volks, then i'd put those bad boys on!!!!

You can always lay them upside {face down} with a blanket on top.

Ship them. 99.99% they will arrive undamaged, plus they are insured.

Talked to the mover supervisor, he of course recommended I put them on my car. He said they wrap them in thick paper and thats it.

So looks like I am putting them on!

+1 You'll be lookin' good all the way to TX.

If you're that worried about having your wheels on the road, I can't believe you're not putting your Z on a transport

No.

Keep them in the closet and look at them every now and then. If you put them on the car they will get dirty.
