Anyone know what to do about putting on and taking of the Volks. I've got a set of SF challenges and I've been taping the socket to prevent it from scratching the rim because I have no clearance. Anyone else have any other methods to prevent the scratching? or possibly know where to buy a super thin socket for the lugs? or are some lugs thinner than others??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Buy a socket that fits pretty snug but not too tight. Wrap the socket with masking tape and be gentle. No scratches from there.

thanks, I did that though, and it was so tight that I had to redo the tape after every lug

yeh I messed up the anodizing so i got it painted with a sparkling silver, really shines bright when light hits it

if you checked his thread, you'd see that he painted the lips, due to some mishap with the clearcoat.
but yes, rain + lips = teh lose.
