Question Michelin® Pilot

I am planning to replace my 17” original rear tires with Michelin® Pilot: A/S 235/50R17 or XGT Z4 P235/50ZR17 or Sport PS2 235/50ZR17. They are about 200 bucks each at Costco in CA. Do you think this is a good choice? I will need wet traction as well, so can not go with all soft/performance tires.

Fronts are replaced by the dealer at 21K due to fathering, now I am at 27K on the rears, can not survive even light North CA. winter....

Thanks for the reply..

All OEM ’04 roadster touring but Nismo antenna and license plate frame

Actually, the PS2's are "soft" performance tires. I'm using them on my Z and love them. Incredible traction dry and great traction even when wet. No snow here so I can't comment on that aspect of them.

Default My pilots were crap

In my experience......the rear pilots do not fit the rim correctly for the base models 17" rims and you will experience wear only in the middle of the tread, this will happen quickly and will be very similar to the result of having too much tire pressure. Whomever you have work on your car will tell you this is your fault, beware.
