Switch from !9/20" to 18"
How much a difference do you think I would have in performance, such as acceleration and handling when switching from 19" in the front and 20" in the back to some Axis Reverb 18"s. Also what sizes would you get and tire sizes, I was thinking 18x9.5 and 18x10.5.

Going to smaller AND lighter wheels makes a noticeable difference always...

If you are interested in performance, why buy 19 and 20-inch wheels in the first place?

It should make a big difference if you race. Even in drag racing it may make up a couple cars worth of distance.

for racing,good choice, smaller sometimes equals lighter... smaller also equals cheaoer tires which is good for race....
BUT 18's look tiny on a 350, 19s almost look too small

I don't really think 18's look too small, guess it just depends on the style of wheel. I'm currently rockin 18's.
Or ......do they look too small?

Its all about perspective I guess. I like 18s on the Z but it has to be lowered to minimize fender gap. Otherwise they do look a bit small.

So what would you recommend for sizes of the wheel and tire when I purchase my 18's.

That's the same thing my brother said when he saw them!
@Bday350z - Here's what she'll look like with 295's out back.

^ Looks like you got room for fatter tires ;-)
I can only manage a 285/35 setup for my 19" Volks. Heck, this is already overkill since I'm still N/A!
