Default Greddy Strut tower bar

I recently purchased this strut tower bar http://mynismo.com/products/?id=2692. And when I went to look at it on the car for fitment it looks like it's way off, it seems that it doesn't really bend over enough to screw into the car which I need some help on I would love to hear some information on how to put it on and what bolts I will need for the install, and also it seems that once I put it over the engine that my hood would not be able to shut? Thanks for your help

I ordered the one they said was for the 350z...so if there was a problem it wasn't my fault..

It doesn't seem that the left and right sides go low enough to connect to the part they need to.

Are you running a spacer or aftermarket plenum?

The guy we bought it from didn't say anything about it and I don't believe I am but..I put it on and it looks like if i screwed it on it would have to bend around 1/2" to 1" on each side and it doesn't look like the hood clears it because before I have it screwed in i cant shut the hood.

Yeah and it looks the same as the pictures of it I've looked at on the forum so I just dont understand why my hood wouldn't fit when I haven't bought an upper plenum or plenum spacer

Does it matter if the tower bar is touching the plenum..and I just discovered he did something else to the motor..there is a sort of black rubbery thing that is id say.. less than half an inch thich all the way around the plenum it looks sort of like the plenum is sitting on it. and it says SKUNK2 RACING on it.

The greddy is one of the thinest. You will have to get a crawford or APS to get it to work. They mount differently
