just weighed my Toyo T1-S

just weighed my Toyo T1-S
one of the reasons I went with the Toyo T1-S was for the great performance (some say that they are "unmatched" for anything even close to this price).
another reason I payed a little extra is b/c I didn't want to "gain weight" going to the 19" wheels
I just weighed them
fronts (245/45/19)=23lbs (claimed 22.7, which they very well maybe, I only used a scale that shows to the .5 lbs)
Rear (275/45/19)=28.5 (claimed is 27.8, that was a little bit more off than I expected, but still NOT to bad, many times people "claim" a whole lot different than reality.)
in contrast the S0-3 are (claimed) F=28lbs, R=32lbs.
I am getting the iForged Aeros, BUT had them custom made withOUT the bolts/rivots, my guess is that that will save another pound (I didn't get them b/c I like a more simple design, the wieght was NOT the reason, I am NOT that crazy)
someone said they wieghed the stock touring (18") wheels the other day at 54lbs each (iirc).
my fronts should come out to be=44lbs and rears=52.5 (so I will save 10lbs on EACH front and 1.5lbs on EACH rear, NOT only that, but bigger wheels and MUCH MUCH better performing and LONGER LASTING tires at the same time).
I am still looking for the perfect light wt lugs that have an anti-theft system built in, that will even save another 1/2lbs/wheel.
that means I should save 25lbs rotational wieght. someone mentioned that 5lbs rotational wt=1HP, so I just gained (or freed up) an additional 5HP.
it should be noted that even though I do agree that wieght is important, part of this post is a HUGE-"TIC". I am not going to gut all my damping material, take out my spare, passanger seat, etc, just to gain a few tenths, BUT I didn't want to get a set of 19" wheels and make a mid 5 second car a mid 6 second car either.
it should be interesting to see what the really wiegh when they are mounted and balanced.
