Default Need Insurance Help!!

Ok here's the deal. I wrecked my 350z last Friday. Backend came around on a turn out in the country. Actually wasn't playing around. Anyways 7600 dollars in damages later, I need to find new wheels for my car. I have 20 x 8.5 Giovanna Kobe's, but I was told today they are discontinued. I need some help in getting my insurance company to buy a comparable set. Any suggestions? They are paying for everything else, but not sure what to do about wheels.

did they know about the wheels? if you didnt tell them about them they just have to put you back to stock and you are out of luck. if you customize your car you need to tell your insurance company so they can charge the right premium. it will end up being the adjustors call so be real nice to him/her.
good luck

I told them up front about the wheels as soon as I made the claim.

^thats a little too late. unless the insurance company is made aware of the modifications/alterations/upgrades to your vehicle and say they will cover the items for the adjusted value prior to the actual accident, then they have no obligation to cover those parts of your car beyond what the stock equipment value was.
