Default Ok, that was weird...

Is there something weird about our 18" OEM rims? I had to go to THREE shops before the third figured out how to get the tires off the damn things!

Two gas stations and then finally a sears automotive. It was so weird they had like four guys trying to figure out how to get the old tires off!?

Anyway, I'm just venting 'cause I drove around all afternoon 5+ hours to get my new tires on...

On the cool end one of the guys at the gas stations had a supercharged mustang GT putting down 425hp to the wheels. I invited him to MIR on the 5th. Wonder if he'll show. lol

It depends on the quality of techs that are working on the rims. As long as they don't put the tyres on backward.

the first two shops were either too scared or just too incompetent to deal with the tps sensors.

Speaking of the TPS sensors. Does each one corrispond to a diffrent corner of the car? I swear on the digital readout for the tire pressure that my rear left was reading on the bottom before and now it's reading on the top???

Maybe I'm just going crazy or something?

Not unusual.

The shop does not have the proper equipment to work with 18-inch wheels.
or
The shop would rather not work with 18-inch wheels. Why risk damaging the wheels?
