Just park by a tree and lock your wheels to the tree with a chain!

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but i just wanted to let you guys know i just bought 2 packs of gorilla lock nuts, and guess what? Keys work for both sets

Dealerships have a master for the mcgard locks, so i guess theres no real way of protecting those wheels.

Gotta weld 'em.

I have one wheel lock per wheel and I keep the special socket in the car, in case I get stuck with a flat somewhere and need to put the spare on. Of course if a criminal has the intent of stealing a wheel, I wouldn't put it past them to break a window, unlock the door and root around for the wheel lock socket. I think the point of the wheel lock, in conjunction with avoiding parking in the worst location possible, is to discourage the thief from stealing your wheels because of all the time required to get the locks off. I really feel that having one wheel lock per wheel is just as good as having 5 locks per wheel.

Then take a small PMOS transistor and tie its gate to magneto resistor which has 12V across it, and place a 10Kohm pull down resistor after the magneto resistor but before the gate. Then place a series of small magnets across the back side of your wheel in a circular fashion, as to always be close to the magneto resistor no matter the position. Then place 12V on the drain of the transistor, and tie one end of the ignitor to ground, and the other end to the source of the transistor. Make sure you place an on/off switch in the car for the 12V source that goes to the drain of the transistor.

When leaving the car, simply turn switch on. If theave attempts to steal wheel, it will blow his/her arm/hand/fingers off (acitonperoxide is more powerfull than nitroglycerin, and easier to set off, but is stable as long as it's damp and placed in a clay (similar to TNT)). When the tire is removed the magneto resistors resistance goes up as there is no longer a magnet near it, at which point the gate voltage goes to 0 and the transistor opens, causing the ignitor to get really hot, which then causes the black cat to go off, which sets off the "home made TNT" similar to a blasting cap in real TNT. To prevent personal damage when servicing the car, simply shut the on/off switch to the off position.

lol...

Ted Kosinski is that you?

If you live or work in a high crime area . . . move or buy a beater.
Otherwise:
Maybe talk to an insurance agent about extra coverage.

Personally, I tie Nikki to a nearby tree:

run an electric current through your rims while parked. anyone(or animal) that touches it gets zapped. mount nearby camera for extra fun.

A company called Scytek makes alarms that take pictures and sends them off to a wireless reciever. Dont know much about them but a novel idea.
