275/30/20 in the rear would be a better choice, you're going to want the stretch on the tires if you want to run those offsets so don't go wider or you'll be more likely to rub

I run 18x9.5 +12 out back with a 275/35 tire -needs rolling to clear ( rolled mine heavily 0 rubbing witha tad less than 2 degrees rear camber and HKS RSs as low as they go)

Yes it is, but I think everyone responding to this thread is trying to go for the most aggressive look possible to try and get the most lip and concavity (if thats even the right word) of the spokes.

but thats not necessarily the case...see my post above

my fenders were already rolled and based on where my tire sits, they absolutely would have needed them for my current setup too

hey adam,
what if you were on stock height and no drop.
can you fit a 275/40/19 tire back there?

275/40/19 is way too tall anyways, 275/35/19 is the correct size

I have the te37s in 19x9.5 +12 in the rear with 275/30/19. I am still on stock height and I will take pics tonight to illustrate rolling and clearance issues.
IMO, with this offset you don't want a 275/35/19 unless you don't plan on lowering the rear at all. As it sits the fender is directly above the tire so rolling is a must. I'm gonna document all the steps so be on the lookout...

To me, correct tire size means getting as close to the stock diameter as possible, and not getting a tire that is shorter to prevent rubbing. A 275/35/19 is already a hair shorter than a stock 245/45/18, a 275/30/19 is over 1" shorter in diameter than stock so you'll be messing up your stagger and odometer/speedometer reading. Rubbing issues can be addressed by rolling and adjusting camber, incorrect tire sizes can't be fixed in any easy way

I have a +20 te37 10.5 on the rear with 275/35 lowered on eibach prokit springs. I have never rubbed, but the rim absolutely sticks out a tad. it looks great with the +22 front.

and I see conflicting info: is Sharif running a 10.5 up front or a 9.5?

TE37 does not come in 10.5 +20 - most likely you have a 22, unless you are using a spacer

rolling is an understatement, assuming you are running a properly sized tire - you'll basically need surgery I'd start looking for a really really really good body shop, amybe someone who does hot rod stuff, customizing, etc.

if you run a stretched tire and gobs of camber, I bet you can make it fit - but what fun would that be? This is a big wheel It needs a BIG tire!

since we are talking about tire sizing. Considering getting some 19x9.5 +22 all around. How wide can I go in the front?

Alright...I couldn't resit trying the rear on after staring at the wheels for a week.

So...the rear fits. BARELY though.....I have tein basics on the lowest setting, and can still fit a finger all the way around. I think it looks great. Of course there will be suspension rebound, but I think after a roll (hopefully) I'll be ok. I waited about 45 minutes before taking this pic to let the car settle.
