Default Toyo tire size choice?

How's it going everyone? I have a set of Enkei PK6:

F: 18x8.5 +24
R: 18x9.5 +25

I'm going with Toyo T1R 245/40-18 upfront. I was wondering if there would be an issue going with 285/35-18? I believe many people on here run 275/35-18's. I have a 2005 G35 coupe, but I don't think it'll be any different then the Z's. there's only a $2 difference in tires.

Thanks,

Ant

+1 on that (because you did not clarify what size you decided to go with)

The Nismo recommendation for those same sizes are the 245/40~275/40

Most people running 275/35 are doing it on 19" wheels. There are quite a few threads that discuss how having 275/35R18 on the back while using 245/40R18 front cause the SLIP light to come on during freeway sweepers.

I'm going with the 275/40/18, but I ended getting Falken FK452's. I almost went with the 285's, but for some reason I couldn't get myself to spend the extra $20/tire.

I doubt I'll be able to make power to break those Falkens free and supposedly it'll be better for road noise. I've been reading about the debate between Toyo's and Falken's on here, but my friends convinced me Falken's will work fine for me.
